Mounting the Viewﬁnder and Adjusting its
Position

This section shows how to mount and adjust the
supplied viewﬁnder and the optional AG-VF11G
viewﬁnder, which is equivalent to the supplied one.
When using a viewﬁnder other than these two
viewﬁnders, see the Operating Instructions provided
with that viewﬁnder.
• Note that old attachment models are not supported.

Mounting the Viewﬁnder

Conﬁrm that the POWER switch is
turned off.

Connect the plug to the viewﬁnder
connector.

<Note>
Make sure that the plug is ﬁrmly seated in the
viewﬁnder connector.

Loosen the viewﬁnder right-left
positioning ring.

4

Turn the viewﬁnder securing screw
counterclockwise (to cancel the safety
mechanism) and slide the viewﬁnder in
the direction of the arrow.

5

Turn the viewﬁnder securing screw
clockwise (to prevent it from falling
off).

6

Tighten the viewﬁnder right-left
positioning rings.

<Note>
Be sure to ﬁrmly tighten the viewﬁnder securing screw
on the viewﬁnder right-left positioning module. The
viewﬁnder may fall off if the viewﬁnder securing screw
is not properly tightened.
