(C): The READY signal goes off, and the template image re − registration area is
displayed. The re − registration area is determined at this stage. If an error
occurs(*1), processing is cancelled and the ERROR signal is output.

(E): After the character (pattern) image re − registration area is cleared, the registered
image is updated, and the READY signal goes on.
(*1) Typical causes of an error occurring at this point:
− You specified a non − existent checker.
− The specified checker number is set for an image from a camera other than that
set for the capture camera.
− The Character Verification checker could not perform character (pattern)
segmentation.
In addition, is a position/rotation adjustment group has been set, the error may be
due to one of the following causes:
− The result of execution of the Position/Rotation Adjustment checker was NG
(could not detect position).
− As a result of the adjustment, the Character Verification checker area protruded
from the screen area, or was outside the allowable setting range (that depends
on the value set for background processing).
