SIMM Removal (

PB0-AM

To install a SIMM PCB, proceed as follows:

1. Remove the RIP controller PCB, as described above.

2. Note the position of the SIMM orientation key.

Refer to the first illustration in this appendix.

3. Touching the SIMM only along its edges, angle and slide the SIMM

into the connector.

See arrow

in the preceding illustration.

4. Pivot the SIMM up (perpendicular to the PCB), softly snapping it into

position.

in the illustrations.

5. Re-install the RIP controller PCB as described in RIP Controller PCB
