Note:
Capella
is
NOT
suitable for use in the presence of a flammable anaes-
thetic mixture with air or with oxygen or nitrous oxide.
Connect the Probe Connector Cable and personal computer (PC) to
their respective ports on the Connection Panel at the back of
Capella
.
Before connecting the power cord, please make sure that the voltage
from the electrical outlet matches the voltage shown on the identifi-
cation label stuck over the power inlet.
Caution!
Operating at the wrong voltage may blow the fuses!
Plug one end of the supplied power cord into the power inlet on the
back of
Capella
(see Fig. 1 below) and plug the other end directly into
a three-wire, protective ground, AC power outlet.

2.3
Care and maintenance
The probe, headset and parts are in constant contact with your pa-
tients so care should be taken to ensure that they are kept clean.
