Position the A2B weight on the rope indicated. 

 
 
 
Slip the rope coming from the boom onto the block pulley and then 
on the second pulley back towards the boom. Fasten the eyelet by 
means of the block upper pin as in the single line pull.

6.11 Anti-two-block positioning 

The  Anti-two-block  (or  A2B)  is  a  device  that  prevents  the  block  and  the  boom  to 
come into contact during the rope lifting. 
In case the crane is operated with a rope, make sure the A2B is installed and in a 
correct way to avoid damaging the machinery or injuring the personnel.  
The rope to be slipped through the A2B counterweight is the same located on the 
dead end (final part of the rope before being fastened). 
The rope dead end doesn’t need to be free in order to install the A2B counterweight.
