SETTING THE OCTAVE
This function allows you to set a different Octave to each one of the available sound sections. Each
section can be moved Up or Down by 2 Octaves.
The new configuration can be set as follows:
1. Press the SET button. All the programmable features of the instrument will start flashing.
2. Press, for example, the OCTAVE button in the UPPER ORCHESTRA section. Its Led will start
flashing.
3. The display will show:
OCTAV B = -1 U = -1
B
indicates the BASS Section
U
indicates the UPPER ORCHESTRA Section.
At 0 (zero) value there is no Octave transposition.
It is also possible to select the above page by pressing and holding the OCTAVE button. The page will
be automatically shown on the display and it will be available for a few seconds to allow quick changes
while playing.
1. To change the Octave value, move the cursor using the (<) and (>) buttons and position it under
the values that need to be changed.
2. Use the (/\) and (\/) DATA buttons to change the octave. The Octave can be shifted by a
maximum of 2 octaves up or 2 octaves down (-2/+2). Each Sound Section can be assigned with
a different Octave Value.
3. To store the new OCTAVE setting, press the SET button.
OVERALL PRESETS
Overall Presets can be easily modified as follows:
1. Select the desired Rhythm, Tempo and sounds in the different sections choosing effects and
setting volume levels etc.
2. Press the SET button. All the programmable features of the instrument will start flashing.
3. Press the Overall Presets button where you desire to store the new programs. Its Led will start
flashing.
4. To store the new configuration press the SET button.
To return to the factory set OVERALL PRESETS it is necessary to reset the instrument.
If you wish to save the factory settings, or other presets that you create, you can transfer them to a
floppy disk, via the Disk Drive.
