RECORDING AND SAVING A SONG
1. Insert disk into organ (
label side up
).
2. Select the desired registration for the song.
3. Press the RECORD button (First row of buttons in the DISK FEATURES Section - located directly
above the Overall Presets Section on the right of the control panel).
4. Play the piece of music.
5. Switch off the RECORD button.
Display will show:
SAVE TO SONG 001.MID
6. If the recording is satisfactory press the ENTER/YES button to save (DISK FEATURES Section).
Display will show:
!! SAVING!!
WAIT until the display changes and the green light has gone out on the disk drive.
7. To play the recording, press the PLAY/STOP button (DISK FEATURES Section).
8. If you are unhappy with the recorded result, at step 5 press the ESCAPE/NO button (DISK
FEATURES Section) to permanently delete the recording.
9. Subsequent recordings will automatically save as SONG 002, SONG003 etc.
This brings the GETTING STARTED chapter to an end. The intention of this chapter is to enable the
novice ORLA player, to gain confidence in the operation of this instrument. The factory settings ensure
full, rich organ sounds, combined with the ultimate ease of use.
REMEMBER
Whilst the instrument is new to you, it takes time to master some of the functions. Take each
stage a step at a time. Above all, enjoy playing the ORLA GT2600.
