With thumb and index finger slide ejector levers inward prior to pivoting ejectors.

Failure to follow this step may cause damage to the NIU ejectors:

Slide the lever catch and pivot the two ejection levers outward at the
same time, pulling the card out of its connection to the motherboardand
away from the system chassis. This action disengages the NIU from
the system, severing all electrical contact to the processing unit.
7.
Remove the loosened NIU out of the Acme Packet 4600 by holding and pulling on
each side of the NIU's front panel.
8.
Place the NIU in an antistatic bag while it remains outside of the Acme Packet
4600 System chassis.
NIU Installation
To install an NIU into the Acme Packet 4600 chassis:
1.
Locate the NIU.
2.
Ensure that the ejection levers on the front of the card are in the open and
extended position.
3.
Hold the NIU by its sides with the front panel bezel facing you.

Note the two flared guide rails that the NIU rides as it is inserted into the Acme
Packet 4600. The guide rails lead the NIU to engage with the bus connector
