“File”
The options of menu “File” are the following:
New Patient
– Opens the window in which it is possible to insert the demographic
data of a new patient in the patients' database.
Patients Manager
– Opens the window in which it is possible to manage the records
(i.e. edit, delete, etc.) the records in the patients' database.
Operator
– Opens the window in which it is possible to enter the operator's name.
Chose Probe
– Opens a submenu from which it is possible to select the type of
probe (12.5 MHz, 20 MHz or 35/50 MHz).
Probe Settings
– Opens a property sheet that can be used to manage the operating
parameters of the probes and save them on a drive (this option cannot be used by
users).
Save
– Saves a complete exam (data + ecographic image) in the patients' database.
Print Preview
– Displays a preview of the exam.
Export
– Exports the image in a standard PC format.
– Prints a complete exam.
Print Selected Images
– Allows to the operator to print on a single A4 printout page
up to 6 Bscan images (previously selected) with customized header and diagnosis
(see also <
Actions
>+<
Printout Header
>).
“Freeze (Unfreeze)”
Menu “Freeze (Unfreeze)” can be used to activate/deactivate the ultrasound scan of
an echographic probe.
“Mode”
The options of menu “Mode” are the following:
Enhanced
– Activates the high resolution mode on the frozen image.
TGC On
– Activates the “Time Gain Compensation” on the Bscan Images.
Vertical
– Activates the vertical (or orizzontal) viewing of the Bscan Image.
Bilinear Filter On
– (Only for frozen Bscan images) activates a smoothing filter on
the image.
Biometry Filter
– Open a submenu for the selection of the filtering mode applied to
biometry data.
“Actions”
The options of the “Actions” submenu are the following:
Reset
– Loads the factory default parameters.
OS / OD
– Displays the window in which it is possible to select the eye (left or right)
to examine.
