z
To quic kly ad just bass, midrange, or
treble to the mid dle position, proceed
as follows:
Press and hold the appropriate
button 6 loca ted b elow the BASS,
MID, or TREB label for more than two
second s.
A beep sounds and the lev el is
adjusted to the m iddle position.
z To quic kly adjust all tone and speaker
controls to the m id dle p osition,
proc eed as follows:
Press the
K
8 tune knob for more
than tw o second s.
A beep sounds and all tone and
speaker controls are adjusted to the
middle position.
z If a radio station's signal is wea k, or if
there is static, decrea se the treble.
Equalizer (EQ)
A range of preset equalization settings can
be selected (instead of manually adjusting
the bass, midrange and treble tones),
as follows:
Press the EQ 7 button.
The equalizer labels ap pear on the
display.
Press the ap prop ria te button 6
located below the label you wish to
select.
The preset equalization setting s a re
app lied.
Press the EQ 7 button aga in to return
to the manual mode (‘Manual’
app ears on the display).

Manually adjust the bass, midrange
and treb le with the
K
8 tune knob to
return to the manual mode.
Ad justing the speakers
(bala nce/fad e)
The volum e for the driver and passenger
sides, a nd the front and rea r speaker
volume can be adjusted to suit personal
requirements. To ad just the settings,
proceed as follows:
Press the
K
8 tune knob and the
sp eaker control la bels appear on the
disp lay.
The BAL and FADE lab els appear on
the display.
Press the
K
8 tune knob
continuously to hig hlight the desired
label.

located below the label tha t you wish
to select.
Turn the
K
8 tune knob clock wise or
anticloc kwise to a djust the highlig hted
setting .
The highlighted setting is adjusted.
