Replacement keys
The key number is specified in the vehic le
docum ents and in the Car Pass 3 .
The key is a c onstituent of the electronic
immobiliser. Ordering k eys from an Opel
Serv ic e Partner gua ra ntees problem-free
op eration of the electronic immobiliser.
Keep the sp are k ey accessible in a safe
place.

Car Pass

The Ca r Pass contains a ll of the vehicle’s
data and should therefore not be k ept in
the vehicle.
Have your Ca r Pa ss rea dy to hand w hen
consulting your Opel Service Partner.
Electronic imm obiliser
The system check s whether the vehicle is
allowed to be sta rted using the key that
has been inserted. If the key is recognised
as "authorised", the vehicle c an be started.
The checking tak es place via a
transponder in the k ey.
The electronic im mobiliser activates itself
automatically after the key has been
removed from the ignition sw itch.
The code number of the electronic
imm ob iliser is shown in the Car Pass 3 .
