83 Infotainment system
Six-disc CD player 3
In vehicles with a six-disc CD player, set the
time and date as follow s:
Turn ignition key to ACC or RUN.
Press the
X
e knob.
The Infotainm ent system switches on.
Press the MEN U 4 button until the
set-up menu is displayed.
The clock option label appears on the
display.
Press the appropriate button 6
loca ted b elow the clock option label.
The HR, MIN, MM, DD, YYYY
(hour, minute, month, day and year)
labels appear on the display.
Press the appropriate button 6
loca ted b elow the label that you wish
to chang e.
Press the sam e b utton 6 a gain to
increase the time/date.
The value selected increa ses by one
(hour/m inute/month/day/year) every
tim e the sa me button 6 is pressed
again.

The value selected can also be
changed using the
SEEK
w
f ,
SEEK
q
g , FWD c and REV d
buttons a nd the
K
8 tune knob,
as follows:
Press the S EEK
w
f button or the
FWD
c
button.
The value selected increases
(hour/minute/month/day/year).

REV d button.
The value selected decreases
(hour/minute/month/day/year).

Turn the
K

tune knob clockwise or
anticlockwise.
The value selected increases or
decreases (hour/minute/month/day/
year).
The date does not display automa tic ally.
To display the d ate, proceed as follow s:
Press the MENU 4 button follow ed by
the button

located below the clock
option label, with the Infotainment
system on.
The date appea rs.

After a few sec onds, the d isplay reverts
bac k to the normal ra dio and time
display.
Cha nging default time and date settings
The default time and date settings can
be changed from a 12 hour c lock to a
24 hour clock and from the date format
MM/DD/YYYY (month/da y/year) to
DD/MM/YYYY (day/month/year).
Cha nge the default time or date setting s
as follows:
Press the
C
1 clock button
(single-d isc CD player)

Press the
MENU 4 b utton
(six-d isc CD player 3 ).
Press the appropriate button 6
located b elow the forward arrow label
on the display.
The 12H , 24H , MM/DD/YYYY and
DD/MM/YYYY labels a ppear on the
disp lay.
Press the appropriate button 6
located below the label tha t you wish
to select.
Press the
C
1 clock button or the
MEN U 4 button to apply the
selection.
The selection is ap plied.

Alternatively, allow the screen to
time out a nd the selection made will
bec om e the default time/da te setting.
