3. Operating the UPS
C. Failure (displays and beeps when a failure occurs in a device)
Status:
The UPS stops due to a failure of the internal
circuit of the UPS, an output short, or
abnormal internal temperature.
Remedy:
●
Turn off the UPS and devices connected to
the UPS. Disconnect all devices connected
to the UPS and press the Power switch again.
In a case where the status of A-3 on page 33
occurs, there may be a malfunction in a
device connected to the UPS. Check the
devices.
●
If the same display appears after taking the
above countermeasures, stop the UPS for
approximately 1 hour and then press the
Power switch again.
In the case when the status of A-3 on page
33 occurs, the temperature inside the UPS
must have increased. Check whether ambient
temperature is below 40
°
C and make sure
that a vent has not become obstructed.

If the trouble still remains despite performing
the above checks, there has likely been a
failure of the internal circuit.
