MAINTENANCE

1. Lift the operator console and

open the lid of the cartridge
compartment.

2. Remove the print cartridge and

clean the electrical contacts
using a dry cotton wool stick.
Warning: do not touch the
printing nib.

3. Clean the electrical contacts of

the print cartridge holder with a
soft dry cloth.

4. Having reinserted the cartridge, close the lid of the cartridge compartment and lower the operator console.

5. The display shows the message “HEAD NEW?” on the first line and “CONF.=YES CLR.=NO” on the

second line. Select NO by pressing CLEAR.

shown in the figure.

3. Clean the print head pad with a

4. Close the lid of the cartridge compartment and lower the operator console.
