CHECKING THE PRINT HEAD NOZZLES
The first thing you must do if the print quality deteriorates is to check the print head nozzles.
o
The facsimile machine is on and in stand-by.
The facsimile machine starts testing the cartridge nozzles. The result of the diagnostic test is printed.
Below is an illustration of the type of diagnostic test and the action to be taken - should problems arise - to
restore printing quality.
5.
After cleaning the optical reader, lower the operator console.
6.
You should make a test copy to ensure that the optical reader is perfectly clean. For this, use a clean,
completely blank original and check that the copy produced is similarly blank and clean. If there are
any vertical lines and the glass of the optical reader, after a further
check, appears perfectly
clean, call the customer engineering service.
