1. Turn the main power switch on. Toner 

installation is started.

2. The drive chain is disengaged when 

toner installation is completed.
Run maintenance mode U130 if [Add 
Toner] remains displayed even after the 
drive chain is disengaged.

*: A high pitch continuous sound may be 

heard for about 10 seconds during the 
toner installation.  However, this is not 
abnormal, so please continue the installa-
tion.

        U100 - High Altitude - Set mode

1. Install appropriate software on your PC from the included Product Library disc if you want to use the 

printer function of this machine or perform TWAIN / WIA transmission from your PC.
(Reference of an operation guide)

1. Enter the maintenance mode by entering 10871087 using the numeric keys.
2. Enter 000 using the numeric keys and press the start key.
3. Select Maintenance and press the start key to output a list of the current settings of the maintenance 

items.

4. Press the stop key to exit.

1. Enter 927 using the numeric keys and press the start key.
2. Select [Excute].
3. Press the start key. The counter is cleared.
4. Press the stop key to exit.
