Service Manual for OL400e/OL410e/OL410e-PS

Chapter 3 Maintenance & Disassembly

Upper Cover Assembly Installation

Have the operator panel cable positioned as vertically as possible.

Be careful NOT to damage

the operator panel cable.

A damaged cable will cause apparent initialization failures.

Refer to

Section 4 ()

of this Service Handbook for details.

Position the upper cover over the raised face-down stacker cover as shown in View A.

Lower the upper cover over the raised face-down stacker cover. Once the upper cover has
cleared the stacker cover, correctly align the upper cover with the lower unit and the two
rear claws.

When the upper cover has been aligned with the base, hold the upper cover with one
hand and feed the operator panel through the opening in the upper cover.

Lower the upper cover into place.

When installing the cable to connector CN1, the blue strip on the cable faces the switches
(top) of the operator panel.
