Do not modify the cutting head. This will protect you and
others from accidents and injuries.
●
Do not allow the cutting head
body to come into contact with
head objects (e.g., stones and
fences) while working. This will
protect the cutting head from
damage and breakdown.
●
Do not use nylon lines other than those specified. This will
protect the cutting head from malfunctioning and breaking
down.
●
When using the nylon cutter for over one hour of continuous
use, periodically stop the engine and check the cutting head
for cracks or looseness.
●
Watch out for people or vehicles near enough to possibly be
hit by objects thrown by the nylon cutter. Immediately reduce
the engine speed or stop the machine in such situations.
WARNING
To avoid serious injury, shut down immediately if the
unit starts to shake or vibrate.
This could be a sign of danger from broken part or
missing fasteners.
WARNING
To avoid serious injury after shutting down the engine,
keep fingers and feet away from the cutting head until all
rotation stops.
WARNING
To avoid serious injury, NEVER use wire in place of the
nylon mono filament cutting lines. The wire tip can break
off during cutting and become a dangerous projectile.
DO NOT put hands or feet near or under rotating parts
while engine is running.

Keep cutting attachment below waist level.
●
If an operator strikes a foreign object or if the unit vibrates
abnormally, stop the engine, disconnect tad secure the spark
plug wire. Inspect the unit for any damage and contact a
product dealer to repair the damage.
MAINTENANCE AND ADJUSTMENT
Gear Case Service
●
After each use, remove the
cutting head and the hold (A)
and remove any debris inside
it. Also wipe clean the gear
case and the shaft tube.
NOTE
○
The gear case is hot just after engine is stopped. Perform
maintenance when it has cooled.
●
Grease the gear case every 30 hours.
●
When applying gear case grease, remove the holder (A) to
allow the old grease to be pushed out.
NOTE
○
Remove the screw at the side of the gear case and apply
grease. Use lithium type grease No.2 or equivalent.
