OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

 

Adjust the handle to a comfortable position and maintain good 

balance as recommended in this manual.

 

Make sure the unit is assembled properly.

 WARNING

Hold the unit down firmly so you do not lose control 

while cranking. If not held down properly engine could 

not pull you off balance or swing the blade into an 

obstruction or your body.

 WARNING

Thoroughly inspect the area where the unit is to be used 

and remove all stones, sticks, wire and other objects 

that could cause injury if thrown at high speeds.

 CAUTION

Removing the cutter guard can cause damage to the 

drive shaft/cable (not covered by warranty) and cause 

serious injury to operator and others.

 

DO NOT use any accessory or attachment other than those 

supplied by the manufacturer for use with this particular unit.

 

Use only for jobs explained in this manual.

 

Inspect the entire units before each use for worm, Loose 

or damaged parts. DO NOT use until the unit is in proper 

working order.

 

Pay attention to your surroundings during operation. Make 

sure to maintain a distance of at least 15 m from anyone and 

anything (e,g., pets and objects) nearby. This will protect you 

and others from accidents and injuries caused by loose grass 

and flying objects.

 

Do not touch the blade when the engine is running. This will 

protect you and others from accidents and injuries.

 WARNING

To avoid serious injury, shut down immediately if the 

unit starts to shake or vibrate. 

 

This could be a sign of danger from broken part or 

missing fasteners.

 WARNING

To avoid serious injury after shutting down the engine, 

keep fingers and feet away from the blade until all 

rotation stops.

 IMPORTANT

The thickness of branches which may be cut using this 

trimmer is limited to up to Approximately 5mm. Never try 

to cut branches thicker than this, as doing so may result 

in damage to the trimmer.

MAINTENANCE AND ADJUSTMENT

Gear Case and Blades Lubrication

Lubricate the gear case every 20 hours.

 WARNING

Hot engine parts can cause severe burns. 

 

Allow engine to stop, and cool before lubricating the 

gear case.

 

Disconnect the spark plug cap 

from the spark plug.

 

Inject grease into the gear case 

through 3 grease nipples with a 

grease gun.

 

Apply a few drops of machine 

oil to blades on each refueling.

 WARNING

Cutter blades can cause severe injury. 

 

Wear gloves to protect hands when handling cutter 

blades.
