1 GENERAL INFORMATION
1.1 Safety information
HIGH VOLTAGE - RISK OF DEATH
This equipment is normally used in systems using dangerous and lethal levels of voltage.
Use the utmost care when operating and maintaining the equipment and the related circuits.
Consult the applicable rules and regulations on safety and work precautions:

FAA AC 150/5340-26
Always operate in compliance with all relevant standards and regulations in force in the country in which the
installation and operation of the device is carried out.
Installation and commissioning of the device may only be carried out by qualified personnel who are adequately
trained on the features and the use of the device.
Stay away from potentially active parts.
Disconnect the energy sources before performing operations on the device. Allow adequate discharging time for
any residual energy before accessing the device. Use a suitable measuring instrument to check for residual voltage
before coming into contact with potentially active parts.
Access the internal sides of the device only in cases of absolute necessity, such as
maintenance or repairs.
Wait until the device is completely de-energised before opening the device or removing the
panel for maintenance.
All personnel working on the device and its associated circuits must be qualified and trained
in first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) techniques.
