3.7 External circuit selector interlock
The unit is supplied already wired to operate without an external circuit selector. To operate,
the two terminals S1 and S2 are short-circuited (removable jumper).
To operate in combination with an external selector, it is necessary for the unit to stop the
supply at least 100 ms before the circuit changeover occurs in order to prevent transitory
overcurrents from drastically reducing the life of the powered lamps. The unit must also stop
the supply when the selector panels are open.
To properly drive the unit, connect the interlock cables from the external selector to the prepared S1 and S2
terminals. Remove the jumper (required for operation without an external selector) before connecting the cables.
Open the front panel and identify the terminals S1 and S2.
Remove the jumper and make the connection to the cable coming from the external circuit selector.
Close the front panel.
