2. Apply thread lock (Loctite 243 or equivalent) on the thread of the additional mounting tube then screw it all the
way down onto the back of the mounting tube.
3. Fit the compression tube inside the mounting tube extension and slide it all the way down into the tube until it
reaches the light cartridge.
4. Screw the locking ring back onto the mounting tube extension until tight.
Now follow the steps in section 4.1.
