Command Line Interface Message Information

You can choose different ways of defining the range:
• 7-999 Display the messages with the message tokens from 7 until 999.
• 50-10 Display the messages with the message tokens from 50 until 10.
• 50- Display the messages with the message token from 50 until last message.
• -30 Display the messages with the message token from 0 until 30.
• 100 Display the last 100 entries. Beginning from the last message.
• 1 Display the last message.
• 0 Display the first message.
The following commands view the detailed description of an entry.
./cmsg {-n} Displays the last 5 messages.
./cmsg {-n} s – e Displays all entries between the starting and the
ending value of the message token.
./cmsg {-n} {option} s – e Specify the different entries within the range.
Command Options Message token Explanation
./cmsg -d MT Display the ‘Long information’ for a mes-
sage token.
./cmsg -dl MT Display the ‘Long information’ for a mes-
sage token. Same as ‘-d’ switch.
./cmsg -ds MT Display the ‘System action’ for a mes-
sage token.
./cmsg -du MT Display the ‘User response’ for a mes-
sage token.
./cmsg -do MT Display the ‘Operator response’ for a
message token.
./cmsg -dp MT Display the ‘Programmer response’ for a
message token.
./cmsg -da MT Get operator's answer for a message to-
ken.
./cmsg -dq MT Get all possible answers for a still not re-
plied question to the operator.
./cmsg -a MT TXT set answer (TXT) for a message token.
