The current status of the job is displayed on top of the window. The basic processing steps
are:
If the status unknown occurs the reason could be that finished print job are deleted from the
PRISMAproduction server immediately. The administrator is able to set the time how long
print jobs are being kept on the system in ’Configuration’ -> ’System Parameters’ - 'Saving
finished jobs'.
Description of the Fields
1. Parameters for Printing
’submitted...’ The file has been transmitted and the print job is being pre-
pared.
’work...’ The print job is being processed.
’Document prepared:...’ The job has been finished and you can:
- print the document
- view the document (and eventually print it later)
- cancel the operation, i.e.delete the print file from the server.
’Jobname’ (pjmadmin only) Name of the job.
’Copies’ Number of copies to be printed. You can insert numbers be-
tween 1 and 31767
’Format’ Select the input format from the list. Dependet on the avail-
able licenses, the following formats are offered:
IOCA, PSunity, TIFF, PDFunity, PCL.
’Paper Size’ Select the size of the (physical) paper. Make sure that the
page you want to print fits on the selected paper.
’Page Layout’ Define how the converter should place the pages on the phys-
ical Paper:
Simplex: one sided printout
Duplex: double sided printout. Flip over the long edge.
Tumble: double sided printout. Flip over the short edge.
These settings do not modify files in the IOCA format.
’Printer’ Define the printer for the job. Default is the printer which was
defined by the administrator. If the administrator sets the de-
fault value himself, the system controls selection of the print-
er. Up to 14 characters of the printername can be displayed.
You cannot adress cluster with this selection.
