Loading rolls of copy material
The standard Océ 9700 has two rolls, each of which may be loaded with copy
material of a different size or type. As optional the Océ 9700 can be equipped
with three rolls. The operating panel displays width and type of media on each
roll.
Attention:
After loading new copy material, you need to inform the system
which type of copy material was loaded. That is, paper, transparent or
polyester. The roll width will be detected automatically.
The definition of the new copy material is important when ‘Automatic roll
change’ has been switched on (see ‘Defining automatic roll change’ on
page 99), and to prevent fold errors.
Caution:
Place heavy rolls (A1, A0 and 200 meter rolls of paper) preferably
in position two in the upper paper compartment. Such roll must have a
diameter smaller than 184 mm.

Re-loading paper

Open the appropriate paper roll compartment (see figure 119).

If necessary empty the chip tray (see ‘Emptying the chip tray’ on page 134).

Remove the roll holder from the paper roll compartment.
