Serial Link

PCM2 has a serial link which can be viewed as an additional tool.

To enable the link connect three pins from connector #4 this way:



Pin 17 in connector #4 (RS232 TX) to pin 2 in the serial DB9 connector



Pin 18 in connector #4 (RS232 RX) to pin 3 in the serial DB9 connector



Pin 33 in connector #4 (RS232 ground) to pin 5 in the serial DB9 connector

Use Hyper Terminal, PuTTY or similar program to display the information on the serial bus.
Set the baud rate to 9,600 and parity and flow control to NONE.

Once communication with PCM2 is established, press “?” to open the menu:

Press any of the keys listed to view the information required.
