• The automatic control must be deactivation in
the event of a risk of frost.
Leaves and foreign bodies:
• Leaves and other materials on the awning cloth,
in the awning box and foreign bodies lying on the
guide rails should be removed immediately.
There is a risk that the awning may be damaged
or fall.
Obstacles:
• There should not be any obstructions in the
extension area of the awning. There is a risk of
people being crushed.
• If the awning is installed at a height of less than
2.5 metres over accessible travel paths, the
awning may only be operated via a switch within
view of the moving parts. Electrical controls,
radio drives with push button switches, push
button switches etc. are not permitted in this
instance.
• The push button must be within sight of the drop
profile, but away from the moving parts, ideally
at a height of 1.3 metres (national regulations
regarding disabled persons should be obser-
ved).
• There is a crushing and cutting area between the
moving parts of the awning. Clothing or body
parts can be caught by these moving parts.
• Any additional loads on the awning caused by
attached objects or rope tensioning may lead to
damage and falling of the awning and are there-
fore not permitted.
Automatic control:
• An awning may not be extended unattended. An
automatic control may fail under extreme condi-
tions (e. g. power failure, defects, sudden
storms). There is a risk that the awning may be
damaged or fall.
Recommendation:
When not there, switch the automatic control to
manual operation and retract the awning.
Batteries:
• Keep batteries away from children.
• Never throw batteries into fire. Explosion hazard!
• Never short-circuit batteries.
• Never mix old and new batteries or batteries of
different types.
• Do not use rechargeable batteries.
• Do not attempt to recharge batteries. Explosion
hazard!
• The battery is not included in the scope of deli-
very! Only use CR 2450 button cells!
Cleaning and maintenance work in the extensi-
on area of the awning:
• Motor-operated awnings may be extended unin-
tentionally. It should be ensured that the awning
is not extended when cleaning and maintenance
work (e. g. building cleaners) is being carried out
(e. g. deactivate fuse).
Maintenance:
• Safe and risk-free use of the awning can be gua-
ranteed only if the awning is checked and main-
tained on a regular basis. Inspect the awning
regularly for signs of wear or damage to its
covering material or frame.
• If any damages are identified, a professional
should be given the task of repairing it. Awnings
that are in need of repair should not be used.
• Check the awning regularly for any signs of wear
or damages to cables.
• The LED lights cannot be replaced.
• For the purposes of inspection or maintenance
of the product, it should be fully separated from
the power supply.
