In many cases, small defects can lead to a malfunc-
tion. You will usually be able to deal with these your-
self. Please first look
at the table below before contacting your local OBI
store. This may save you a lot of effort and quite
often money.
Please contact service department directly if you
cannot eliminate the error by yourself. Please note
that the unprofessional performance of repair work
will lead to the loss of any warranty claims and that
additional costs may be incurred.
Note:
For perfect operation of the awning,
we recommend you lubricate or oil the
hinged elements between the hinged
arms at regular intervals.
Note:
After multiple uses of the awning,
one or both of the hinged arms may hang
at the wrong angle or unevenly. If this hap-
pens, the hinged arms must be readjus-
ted.

Adjust the fabric slope angle.

les, the drive no longer operates.
Motor overheated?
Wait 30 minutes and allow the
motor to cool down. Then try
again.
Awning does not close correctly
and is not aligned with the casset-
te.
Wall brackets not correctly
aligned/mounted?
Check and, if necessary, correct
the alignment and installation of
the wall brackets.
Is the angle of slope set incorrect-
ly?
Check the angle of slope setting
and, if necessary, set correctly.
The angle of slope cannot be set.
Are the screws of the hinged arms
loose?
Check all screws to make sure
that they are tightened firmly, and
tighten if necessary.
