NOTE

To avoid extra current drain from floating input pins, the reset initialization
routine in the application program should either enable on-chip pullup
devices or change the direction of unused pins to outputs (programmed low)
so the pins do not float. Outputs programmed low is the preferred option for
lowest power. This includes signals not pinned-out on the package.

Many of these pins share functionality with MCU peripheral functions. Also, the pins internally connected
to the modem are dedicated to SPI communication, monitoring modem status, or modem control. For all
these cases the functionality of the GPIO are controlled by the applications program and direct
programming of the MCU peripherals.
