10. Choose the option marked “Use the following IP address” and type in an IP address that has the same first

three octets as the address that you will set the manifold to. For the last octet you may choose any number

from 0-255, just make sure that it is not the same number as the IP address that the manifold will have.

Make sure your subnet mask is set to “255.255.255.0” (this value can be changed, but this value will be used

for demonstration purposes).

Left click “OK” in the “Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) Properties” and “Local Area Connection” windows for the

changes to take effect on the computer. Close out of any open windows.

Once the IP address for the computer is known, you can set the IP address of the ASCO Numatics manifold using

one of the methods described on page 30 .

Click on “start” then select “All Programs->Accessories->Run”.
