Multi-TID SAN Attach Single Switch Connection

Duplex Mode Logical View - Multi-TID SAN Attach Single Switch Connection

This Multi-TID SAN topology provides one of the most robust high-performance

active-active RAID storage solution for multiple host systems with dual Fibre

ports.

It offers advantages of system level fault-tolerance, high access, high-performance

and shared storage.

It’s disadvantages are a SAN heterogeneous environment software or volume

management for homogenous environment software to effectively manage it.

In this configuration the Host I/O card switches 4 and 5 are set to the “off”

position. This will isolates each Host I/O port and host controller port.
