Host I/O Card
LEDs are provided on the card’s face plate that illuminate to indicate the 2 Gb
mode, host link status, and activity. One LED displays the bus speed mode
setting, either 1 Gb per second or 2 Gb per second. The other LED indicates the
status of the FC Loop.
The following table defines the function of each switch:
Host I/O Card Switch Definitions
Switch Name Function
1 Host Speed Sets the FC Loop speed to 1 Gb or 2 Gb. An LED on the
card will illuminate to indicate 2 Gb mode. The “up”
position sets 2 Gb mode and the “down” position will set
the loop to 1 Gb mode.
2 Wahoo Mode Sets the enclosure to operate with the nStor RAID
Controller “Wahoo” model. The “up” position configures
the enclosure for the “Wahoo” controller, while the
“down” position configures it for non-Wahoo RAID
Controllers (e.g., FFx2, FFx).
3 Hub Failover Enables the hardware “Hub Failover” mode for the nStor
Wahoo RAID Controllers.
4 Host H0H1 Link Provides the link between the host H0 and H1 should a
failure occur.
5 CTRL0 P0P1 Link Provides the link between the P0 and P1 channels of the
controllers.
