Port and Transceiver Information
This appendix provides information about the serial port on the SES Controller
Card, and the SFP Transceivers used in the Host I/O and Disk I/O cards, and cable.
Service Ports
Service ports are provided to access the SES Controller and the RAID Controllers
using a standard null-modem cable. Through these RS-232 service ports you can
use a VT-100 terminal or emulation such as HyperTerminal, to access the
onboard firmware for monitoring and maintenance, and firmware update
operations.
