Procedure 3-4
Restoring a backup
Use this procedure to restore data to a controller.
Refer to Figure 3-3, The Restore tab on page 3-12.
Requirements
Before you start, you must
• refer to appropriate controllers’ NTPs for restoring from INM, and perform
any steps required before performing INM restore including required
hardware replacements
• be at the Network Wide Backup & Restore window
• select the Restore tab
• select a controller from the Controller List
• have admin privileges

Step Action
1 Determine the location of the backed up data.
2 Click on the Recurring Storage Location: button
The default Recurring Storage Location is the root directory of the controller.
Go to step 7.
3 Click on the Custom Storage Location: button
4 Click on Browse.
5 Select the location that contains the backed up data.
6 Click on OK.
7 Select the storage location you want from the Storage Location list
8 View the details of the backup from the Details list. Confirm that the selected
backup is the one you want to restore.
