Procedure 3-3
Viewing and modifying controller information
Use this procedure to
• view controller information
• add or delete a new controller to your Controller List
Refer to Figure 3-2, The Controllers tab on page 3-9.
Requirements
Before you start, you must
• be at the Network Wide Backup & Restore window
• select the Controllers tab
• have admin privileges to add or delete a controller
Action
Step Action
1 Determine your action.
2 Click on the Add new controller button.
3 Go to the Type: field. Select a controller type from the option menu.
The controller types are:
a. OPC (operations controller)
b. NPC (network processor controller)
c. EC-1
4 Add the mandatory information in the enabled text fields:
a. name in Name: field
b. IP address in IP: field (required for NPC and OPC)
c. TCP/IP port number in TCP/IP Port: field (required for NPC)
d. MOA IP address in the MOA IP: field (required for NPC)
e. Description: field. Type a description of the controller. This is not an
optional field.
5 Click on the Save button.
6 Click on the Delete button.
