Proportional Valve Replacement
If cleaning the proportional valve does not correct the flow problem then
replace the valve. Remove the valve by performing steps 1 and 2 of
Proportional Valve Cleaning .
Before installing a new valve, remove the protective cover from the bottom
of the valve body. Be careful to not lose the O-rings under the cover.
Gun Air Solenoid Valve Replacement
See Figure 5-13. To remove the gun air solenoid valves (7), remove the two
screws in the valve body and lift the valve off the manifold.
Make sure the O-rings furnished with the new valve are in place before
installing the new valve on the manifold.
Filter Replacement
See Figure 5-13.
1. Remove the screws (1) and washers (2) securing the circuit board (3) to
the manifold (6), then remove the circuit board from the manifold.
NOTE: If the seals (4) remain in the manifold port, remove them.
2. Check for filter contamination. If filters (5) are discolored, replace filters
using service kit 1604436. Replacement instructions are included with
kit.
