All Systems For all of the following procedures:
1) Perform a job briefing.
2) Turn the
THROTTLE to the IDLE position.
Electrical System
(Logic Box, Battery,

Electrical
1) Turn the IGNITION switch to the OFF position (logic box).
2) Turn the Battery Disconnect Switch to the OFF position.
3) Close, secure, and tag the disconnect switch box.
NOTE
This cuts off the electrical power supply to the machine.
Engine
Electrical
1) Turn the IGNITION switch to the OFF position (logic box).
2) Turn the Battery Disconnect Switch to the OFF position.
3) Close, secure, and tag the disconnect switch box.
NOTE
This cuts off the electrical power supply to the machine and
prevents accidental startup of the engine while servicing.
All Hydraulic Systems
Hydraulic Pressure WARNING: After Lockout/Tagout and BEFORE any
repair or maintenance:
1) Manually shift the directional control valves of the hydraulic
circuit under service.
2) Open the hose fittings 1/8 to 1/4 of a turn (CCW) at the
cylinder or motor of the hydraulic circuit under service. This
allows the pressurized oil to bleed off. Service or perform
maintenance on the hydraulic circuit after the steady flow is
gone.
NOTE
This allows pressurized hydraulic oil between a directional
control valve and the cylinder/motor to bleed off that might still
be in that circuit.
Propulsion System
Hydraulic
1) Turn the PUMP switch to the OFF position (logic box).
2) Turn the IGNITION switch to the OFF position (logic box).
3) Turn the Battery Disconnect Switch to the OFF position.
4) Close, secure, and tag the disconnect switch box.
NOTE
This cuts off the hydraulic pressure/flow to the filters and the
directional control valves of the machine
