Instructions Manual
The density and, consequently, the weight of the bale, are determined by the
tension applied in the compaction crank handles.
Owing to the influence of different factors, such as type, density and humidity
of the product to be baled, dimensions of the ridges etc., making it very difficult
to establish a standard regulation of the compaction.
It is advisable to proceed in a practical way, starting the baling with little com-
paction, letting the first bale exit the machine, examining the compaction and
adjusting it as required. Experience will show the operator the correct regulation
for obtaining bales with the features required.
REGULATION:
The compaction is regulated by turning the two compaction crank handles at the
same time, as shown in figure 21.

REGULATING THE COMPACTION OF THE BALE
IMPORTANT:
By increasing compaction of the bales may be necessary to reduce the pressure
of mooring wires and vice versa. Case not some flaw in the mooring, adjust the
pressure of the wires.
NOTE:The largest part of the problems occurring in the mooring of the bales is
related to excessive compaction. Start the baling with a gap of approximately 2
cm in the two crank handles, as shown in figure 23.
Let the first two bales exit and see the compaction, adjusting it as required.
