Transportation of the machine while it
is coupled to the tractor must not be
done on public roads and highways. This
practice must be limited to properties
and rural areas. Check the Department
of Transportation on the rules and
applicable laws in your region, as well
as the existing possibility of transporting
the machine with the tractor on certain
parts of roads.
Never exceed a safe transportation speed.
Reduce your speed and be careful in
rough terrain as well as in winding roads.
Always drive the tractor in compatible
speeds, in accordance with field or road
conditions and the tractor size.
Never allow people to stand on any parts
of the machine while it is being used for
transportation or operation.
Never drive the tractor after drinking.
Avoid sudden maneuvers, especially in
TRANSPORTATION SAFETY
Always keep your hands at a safe distance
from moving parts.
Never attempt to clean or clear any
machine parts when it is turned-on. This
procedure can only be performed when
the PTO is off, the ignition key is removed
from the tractor and the machine is
completely stationary.
Never attempt to pass wires through
the needles if the machine is turned-on.
The sudden movement from the needle
support might cause serious hands / arms
injuries. Turn off the PTO and remove the
tractor key from ignition before you pass
the tying wires.

any imbalance, reduce the

down a steep road, always

activate the parking brake (if
present), turn off the engine
and remove the key from
ignition.
Never operate the machine
for extended periods in
enclosed places or without
v e n t i l a t i o n . C a r b o n
monoxide gases expelled
though the tractor’s exhaust
system are extremely toxic.
Be sure to have enough
counterweights so that the
tractor’s front tires have
sufficient contact with the
ground. The tractor must
always be maneuverable.
When you lift the machine,
only use the indicated
tractor lifting points and
always keep a safe distance
(remember that it is possible
for a lateral movement to
happen – intentional or not
- when the machine is lifted.
