5. Thread Cutter (DS-9A)
The knives, (A) and (B) are to be adjusted as following steps.
a) Fix the knife (A) with tightening screw

at the proper
position. Be sure that the knife edge does not protrude
from thread gutter of throat plate.
b) Fix the knife (B) in the gutter of knife lever, by tentatively
tightening screw ○

c) Turn pulley clockwise direction. When the knife (B) moves
farthest right position, fix the knife (B) moves so that it
contact with the edge of knife (A) approx, 2mm.
d) Slightly bend knife lever to obtain proper contact between
knife (A) and (B).
e) Try to cut several threads wound and then confirm if they
are cut sharply and straightly.
6. Cutter (DS-9C)
a) To occlude the upper and lower blades, manually move the
upper blade. To do so, put off air source. Here, prior to
lowering the upper blade, loosen the screws

When both blades are occluded, allow a gap of 0.1 to
0.2mm between the faces of the two blades on the rear
side, and tighten the screw

6. カッターの調整
カッターの調整をする前に、必ずエアー源を切ってくださ
い。エアー源が切れていることを確認してください。
上刃・下刃を交換するときは、いつでも調整が必要です。
a) 手動で上刃を動かして、上刃と下刃を噛み合わせます。

上刃と下刃の噛み合わせは(Fig.14)のようにうしろ側スキ
マが 0.1mm〜0.2mm になるようにネジ

The gap adjustment can be easily made placing a sheet of
Kraft paper between the upper and lower blades, as shown
in (Fig.14).

5. ナイフの調整 (DS-9A)
ナイフ A とナイフ B の噛み合わせは次のように調整してくださ
い。(Fig.12)
a) ナイフ A は固定刃土台の取り付け場所にネジで固定して
ください。空縫い糸が溝の中でさわらないよう、ナイフ A の
刃先は針板の糸溝からはみ出さないように注意してくださ
い。
b) ナイフ B はナイフレバーの溝にいれ、ネジ ○

で仮締めし
てください。
c) プーリーをまわしてナイフ B がもっとも前進したとき、ナイフ
A の刃先に 2mm かみ合う位置でネジ ○

を締めて固定して
ください。
d) ナイフ A とナイフ B とのセリは(スパナなどを使用し)ナイフ
レバーを曲げて調整します。
e) 糸 5 本を束ねてナイフ A・B の間に入れ、プーリーを手で
まわして切ったとき、切れ残りがなく切断面が直角に切れ
ているか、ナイフの切れ味を確認してください。
