Adjusting the clamping force
The ST730T is shipped from the factory with the clamping force set at medium. This setting can
be varied by moving of the magnet, i.e. reduced by approx. 40% or increased by 40%. This can be
achieved as follows:
•
Loosen the mounting screws (46) of the magnet (Fig.
35).
To
reduce
the clamping force:
Move in direction A
To
increase
the clamping force:
Move in direction B
•
Tighten mounting screws (46) (Fig. 35).
Replacing the toothed belt
Turn OFF the machine and disconnect the mains cable.
•
Remove the safety cover (2) (Fig. 2, page 11).
•
Remove the housing screws (31) and take off cover (17) (Fig. 2, page 11).
•
Tilt the electronic part back.
•
Hook off spring (18) and push trigger contact (9) back (Fig.
13, page 33).
•
Remove the screws (42) of the drive element (43) and
dismantle (Fig. 30, page 40).
•
Pull release rod (41) out of the stripping head (Fig. 36).
•
Unscrew the gripper holder screws (34) and remove grip-
pers (4) (Fig. 28, page 39).
