Pressing the center of the multi selector
selects the center focus point.

Preset focus
point
]
Pressing the center of the multi selector
selects a preset focus point.

To choose the point, highlight it, hold the
center of the multi selector, and press the
AF-mode button until the focus point
flashes.
•
Separate focus points can be selected for
“wide” (landscape) orientation and for each
of the two “tall” (portrait) orientations if an
option other than [
Off
] is selected for

The behavior of the center of the multi
selector can be chosen by pressing

Preset focus point
] is highlighted.

Press to recall focus point
]: Pressing the
center of the multi selector recalls the
preset focus point.

Hold to recall focus point
]: The preset
focus point is selected while the center of
the multi selector is pressed. Releasing the
center of the multi selector restores the
previously-selected focus point.

]
Pressing the center of the multi selector has
no effect.
