using the service set
(10-870):
1. Enter the serial number (e.g., 1008) on the service set.
2. Press the programming key on the service set (see manual).
3. Press the bell push button on the external unit to which you want to program the telephone.
If the correct telephone address is assigned to this serial number (see section 5.4.), the correct telephone or telephone group will ring
(depending on the telephone exchange)
