5.21. Activating the connection between the telephone and the external unit via the sensor input
If you have activated the call function of the sensor input (see section 5.5.), the telephone can ring when a switching contact (such as a bell push
button, motion detector …) opens or closes the sensor input. If you pick up the receiver and press key 7, a connection is made. Now you can carry
out a conversation with the visitor at the external unit.
Upon delivery, the telephone interface is set to 64. A speech connection is not possible. This can be handy when the telephone in question is an
emergency telephone which must only ring in alarm situations.
