Abbe select
A: , B: , C: , Com
Using Abbe number for lens material, measurement value error that occurs during high-refrac-
tive lens measurement is corrected. Abbe number used for correction is selected from A, B, C
or Com.
Factory setting: A: 41, B: 58, C: 32
• Abbe numbers can be entered for A, B, and C individually in the range of 20 to 60 accord-
ing to the lens material. Extended pressing of the item displays the numeric keypad.
• “Com” can be selected only when Abbe number is transmitted from the connected com-
puter. When “Com” is selected, Abbe number entered through communication is set and
displayed in the setting field of the measurement screen. (In this case, the number is dis-
played in black with a yellow background.)
When power is turned on, A is automatically selected. Enter Abbe number of commonly used
lens material for A.

e-line, d-line
Measurement reference wavelength, e-line (546.07 nm), d-line (587.56 nm)

Auto R/L
Off, On
Selects the method for specifying the right eye lens or left eye lens when changing lenses.
Off: Lens side is specified with the R/L measurement select button.
On: Removing the lens after measured data is locked in specifies the opposite side lens.
However, when measured data for both side lenses are locked in, removing the lens does
not work as above.
This function is not available in single state measurement.

Auto read S
Off, ,
Enables or disables the auto read function in the single state (lens side is not specified).
Off: The measured data is locked in by pressing the read button.
: When alignment is performed until the target changes to
(cross), the measured
data is automatically locked in.
After auto read, when further alignment is performed until the target changes to
(large
cross), auto read is performed again.
: When alignment is performed until the target changes to
(large cross), the mea-
sured data is automatically locked in.
This function is not available in contact lens measurement.

Auto read R/L

Enables or disables the auto read function in the R/L state.
The settings are the same as the Auto read S parameter.
This function is not available in contact lens measurement.
