Entering layout data for progressive power lenses
■
For the progressive power lens, perform blocking aligning the lens position based on the
progressive lens far vision eyepoint, or hidden marking.
■
According to prescription, enter lens layout data (FPD, PD, optical center height, and EP).
■
The blocking method can be selected from Active/Passive mode.
■
The layout data is displayed in the numeric button next to each item button. Pressing the numeric
button displays the ten-key pad. Or the numeric field of the item can be selected by the left jog dial
and the numeric value can be changed by the right jog dial.

When blocking based on far vision eyepoint mark
Enter lens layout data using the printed far vision
eyepoint mark on the lens.
1) Enter EP value according to the pre-
scription.
EP value range: [0.0 to +6.0 (in increments of 0.1 mm)]
2) Align the far vision eye point mark and the center position of the lens far vision. Then
align the tilt of the holizontal reference lines and perform blocking.

When blocking based on hidden markings
Enter lens layout data by specifying the desired eye
far vision eyepoint by the height (EP) from the hidden
marking.
1) Enter EP value and WD value according
to the prescription.
2) The range of the EP value is 0.0 to +6.0
mm in increments of 0.1 mm.
3) Measure the space (WD) between the
hidden marking.
4) The range of the WD value is 15.0 to
45.0 mm in increments of 0.1 mm.
