Specify the right (R) and left (L) of the lens layout.

Entering layout data for progressive power lenses” (page 72).

Enter JOB#.
Enter JOB# if necessary.
1) Press JOB#/PTN# on the Layout
screen to display the keyboard
screen.
2) Enter JOB#.
If a barcode scanner is connected, scan
the barcode.
3) Press the
button to store the
data.

Place the right-eye lens on the lens table
and block it.
For blocking procedures, see “2.8 Blocking” (page 95).

Block the left-eye lens.

Store the blocked lens in a tray or such marked with the JOB#.
Identify the stored lens as right or left.
• When blocking only the R (Right) lens with the initial screen set to L (Left), press the L
(Left) button to change the screen to R (Right) lens display.

• Processing conditions that differ between the right and left lenses cannot be set to the
same JOB#.
The processing conditions for the later blocking are saved to the JOB#.
• Repeated blocking of the same side lens, right or left, cannot be conducted.
