OPERATING PROCEDURES

Data Saving, Loading, and Control

{

Data backup to an optional USB flash drive

Press the Data tab on the Layout screen
to display the Data Control screen.

Insert the USB flash drive into the USB
flash drive port of the Ice 900 rear side.

The USB backup button is displayed.

Press the USB backup button.

The message

“Transfer all JOB/PTN data

to USB flash drive?”

is displayed.

Press the Yes or No button.

Pressing the Yes button transfers all the data
except for TMP data to the USB flash drive.

To back up the TMP data, change the file
name to JOB# or PTN# and store it to the other folder.

When backup is completed, a message is displayed.

After backup is completed, turn off the power of the instrument and remove the USB
flash drive.

CAUTION

• For the operation endorsement other than the NIDEK specified USB flash drive

(optional), NIDEK is not responsible for it.

• To protect data loss or corruption due to damage to a USB flash drive, back up data

to other media periodically.

NIDEK is not responsible for data loss or corruption due to lack of back-up.

USB backup button

• During backup to the USB flash drive, other operation cannot be performed.

According to the data amount, it takes long time. Back up data to other media periodically.

• The folder name of the data backed up to the USB flash drive is in the order of (BAK)

folder, (serial No.) folder, (Date, time) folder, (each brand name) folder, each data name.
