Quick start guide
To start the installation of the RCU you need the following:
RCU and the software supplied on CD
•
Star head screwdriver to open the RCU and the heat
•
pump.
For connection to a local network:
Computer, connected to the same local network that
•
the RCU will be connected to
Network cable (not crossover)
•
Network settings for your local network. Received
•
from your network administrator
For direct connection to the computer:
Computer with network card
•
Crossover network cable
•
Insert a SIM card if the GSM modem is to be used.
Remember that the pin code must be deactivated
and if it is pay as you go that there are credits on
the card.
Connect the RCU unit to the heat pump with the
8-pin connector. See ”Installation” for parts for con-
necting your heat pump to the RCU.
Connect the power adapter to the 4-pin connector.
The RCU is configured via the network connection.
Connect the RCU to a local network or directly to a
computer.
If the RCU is to be connected directly to a
computer a crossover network cable must
be used!
