The outdoor sensor signal regulates the control unit
so that the correct boiler/flow temperature is obtained.
The relation between the outdoor temperature and
boiler/flow temperature can be set with the help of
“Offset heating curve” and “Heating curve selection”
knobs.
The outdoor sensor is normally positioned on the
north or north-west wall, protected against mechanical
damage. The sensor should measure the correct out-
door temperature and thus not be affected by e.g. the
morning sun. The electrical connection is made on the
relay card's (29) terminal block (14).

Boiler/Flow sensor (18), see the section “Component
positions”, reads the flow temperature and sends a
signal to the heating control system, which in turn cor-
rects the flow temperature with the help of the immer-
sion heater.

Outside sensor
The temperature limiter (6) disconnects the power
supply between 90 - 100 °C and can be manually re-
set by pressing the reset button, see the section
“Causes and dealing with malfunctions” - “Resetting
the temperature limiter”.
In normal mode the boiler's flow temperature is limited
by the potentiometer “Temperature limitation”, see the
figure in the section “Electrical installation” - “Output
control immersion heater”. The normal setting should
be approximately 5 °C above the design flow tempera-
ture. In addition to the “Temperature limitation” setting
there is also a “Max thermostat”, whose task is also to
safeguard the limitation of the flow temperature. The
normal setting should be approximately 10 °C above
the design flow temperature. With operations in the R-
position, the flow temperature can be adjusted with
the help of the max thermostat.
